A time-tested no-nonsense style that we customized for hunting: The crown is lined with hydrophobic pile to wick moisture to the outer Omnitherm layer. The wraparound three-way ear flaps are lined with Omnitherm so that your hat is camouflaged with the flaps up or down. A short, flexible bill stays clear of rifle scopes and bowstrings and stuffs easily into your pack without damage. This is the warmest hat we make -- the colder it gets the better it looks.

Designed long ago in Europe, this hat offers two ear cover options. One folds down from inside the hat for maximum warmth and to seal around your neck. The other slides down from the outside to cover your ears without muffling your hearing. Our version features a crown that is reversible to blaze orange.

Boonie Hat

The Boonie Hat was designed and developed for the bush in Vietnam, and remains the most-issued bush hat in the world because it performs both for weather and concealment. It has a short 2 1/4" band and a cotton terry cloth headband for comfort and cooling. The strap (or, in Wyoming, the "stampede") can be worn on top or tucked inside when not in use. Rolls up for short storage.
